WHAT IS DIRECT TO STORE (DTS)?
With Black’s DTS service, you can order prints from your home, office or anywhere else you’re connected to the internet, and pick them up in as little as one hour at any Black’s store across Canada. Our DTS service is also a great way to order prints for your friends, colleagues, and family members both near and far. Simply submit your order, chose a delivery store close to your loved one, and have them pick up the order. When using the DTS service, you also have the option of pre-paying for prints online. I'VE GOT ALL KINDS OF DIGITAL PICTURES ON MY HARD DRIVE. WHAT CAN I DO WITH THEM?
If you own a digital camera, you likely also own a computer with a hard drive full of precious memories that could be accidentally deleted. For future retrieval, and for safe keeping, you can easily transfer your digital images to a CD or DVD.
While you’re scanning through the files on your hard drive, you can select favourite images then have them printed for use in frames or photo albums. After all, it's much more personal to hold your memories in your hands then look at them on a computer screen. To process your images, simply upload your digital images to the Black's Online Photo Centre or bring your PhotoCD or DVD to any Black's store.
CAN I GET A PRECIOUS OLD PHOTOGRAPH RESTORED?
To restore valuable older or damaged photographs, Black's offers a premium photo restoration service. We scan your original photographs and repair and retouch them using professional digital imaging software. Other retailers only scan your pictures without repairing the damage. The result is merely a copy of the picture in your hands. Our Black's experts will work to recreate the picture as it appeared when it was originally taken.
